School programs – Accelerated Learning Program ​

Beyond the Classroom’s school program, the Accelerated Learning Program, was implemented at over 100 schools, impacting 5000 children. This activity-based initiative prioritized the development of essential skills, including empathy, critical thinking, and social responsibility.  From learning concepts of majority and minority through a game of  tug of war to engaging in critical reflection at the end of the program, our vivacious team of trainers ensured that students experienced learning as a joyous experience!

Badal Do, teacher training program​

Badal Do, an initiative focused on teacher sensitization with an aim to bring about inclusive and innovative tools in education. The initiative aimed at adopting creative methods to make peace, social inclusion, diversity and tolerance part of the educational experience, in the classrooms and beyond.

The training entailed experiential learning, interactive teaching methods, a mix of teacher training modules and creative approaches through the use of collaborative spaces and mediums of theatre, arts, music and travel. The year-long project was led by a consortium of seven well-reputed organizations: AzCorp Entertainment, Beyond The Classroom Education (BTC), Pak-American Cultural Centre (PACC), Teachers’ Resource Centre (TRC), Children’s Museum for Peace and Human Rights (CMPHR), The School of Writing (TSW) and Mind Map Communications (MMC).

Badal Do’s journey has been welcomed by 200+ schools and 400+ teachers in its initial phase. 

Seeds of Peace​

Since _______, Beyond the Classroom has facilitated participation of ___ cohorts of Pakistan’s delegation at the international Seeds of Peace Camp. The camp invites delegation from seven countries to immerse in two weeks of transformational experience. From engaging in meaningful dialogue to exploring a wide range of activities for self-expression, the students return having formed relationships and gained insights into the root issues that divide them, they build greater levels of trust, respect, and empathy, which inspire their commitment to work for change at home.
